Some happenings in my vegetable/fruit garden!!! As I think most of us have experienced spring weather has been a roller coaster.

I also doubled my garden size this year so lots of new things Iโ€™m trying out.

Pepper and tomato โ€œstartsโ€ have been planted. (Some are Foot tall with flowers). Not quite the weather I wanted but theyโ€™ll have to deal!!!

Soy beans and green beans are germinating! I use to never direct sow but with the expansion I have started to do it more.

Asparagus patch was an absolute disappointment. I have some 4 year old ones that are producing only one or two good spears. I expanded and planted new crown so maybe this will finally work. I probably should do a soil test ๐Ÿค”. Typical me โ€œIโ€™m done!!! Iโ€™ll never plant this!!โ€ Also me buying 10 more crowns ๐Ÿซ

Bok choy, lettuce and carrots are growing so good!

Potatoes are recovering after I didnโ€™t cover on a 32F night and the foliage all died ๐Ÿซ  (notedโ€ฆ)

Rasberries are starting to flower.

Onions are growing great I think??? First time.

Blackberries on their first flower! I usually get a big and small harvest.

Garlic is a bit sad. Had 12 bulbs but squirrels dug them out so will have to cover next year.

Fig is recovering after bunnies ate the bark an inch from its life this winter.

Blueberry flowers! Soil had to be lowered dramatically so been working on that. Not sure if the red leaves are from this random cold or still need to lower pH. Iโ€™m letting it go for now. Blueberries and asparagus are my toxic boyfriend that I keep trying to make it work. I should probably include cilantro and strawberries to that list.

Herbs!! Love chives and their pretty flower. Hoping to get basil and parsley out soon!
