I got these opuntias within the year. I've had the O. Thornton Blue for 9 months and the O. Gomei for maybe about 4 months. The Gomei has already started growing 10 new pads this month.
They're both in 5 gallon pots and the thought of repotting them is daunting 😂 Realistically how long could these survive in their nursery pots before I absolutely should repot them? The soil seems to be standard nursery soil…

those grow quickly. i would repot bigger now. Soil looks good. well draining and gritty
