This plant is growing in my yard. When I try to pull it out of the ground it pops off at the 'joints". Its impossible to pull up the roots.

Looks like corn. Do you have corn in any bird/critter feeders?
Looks like sorghum to me.
Some type of grass, looks pretty corn like to me. If you have any bird feed had corn planted previously, or live near a corn field I think that that wound be likely it

I haven’t seen any bird feeders or forn fields around here. So idk. Maybe there was corn fields here in the past.
