We moved in to this property at the end of January, and the first thing I did was sow a lot (maybe too much!) of pollinator and wildflower seeds, since nothing else seemed like it would work well here. Last picture was at planting in early February. Even the sunflower seems relatively happy!
Anyone who is wondering what to do with random spaces in your yard, try out a pollinator bed! Beneficial to the local wildlife, no need to water, and lovely to look at!
