  1. Hey 😊 isn’t it worth building a squash cage so you can grow zucchini or bush squash? You’re lucky you can already plant outside, here in southern Germany I can only start mid May :/ but at least we don’t have squash bugs 😄🍀

  2. I love squash and I got nothing much last year due to the squash vine borer. I am also determined. One problem I've also had is birds eating the seeds. So I am covering everything with netting until flowering. There is a family of robins always hanging around.

  3. I grew an beans last year, and had many to preserve. We don't have a pressure canner, so we froze them. They were great, but we didn't have enough to last 😁 Do you find canning beans better than freezing?

  4. I love listening to your voice, so soft, you should do kids shows or courses for gardening! It is also really great to see that you are doing well, I just catched up with old stuff, you are glowing now. Much love 🥰

  5. I am growing different things this year and trying not to do too much, but I am using your planting guide and I am excited for this growing season!!

  6. Master Gardener from TN chiming in on corn. What if you did a string trellis/barrier around the corner later in the season? Depending on how densely you’ve planted, could do a loop of twine around each cob before anchoring in each corner of the patch with a stake or something. Some kind of support that allows some movement but not enough to take them to the ground.

  7. Wow, you have been busy. You have a lot of things planted already. I look forward to seeing how everything grows. Can you share the link on where you bought and the name of the really low long metal bed that you have. Is it pretty sturdy? Thanks for sharing😊

  8. Awesome job typically, the farmers where I live in Virginia do not plant out anything till after Mother’s Day so I’m kind of jealous, but can’t wait. My starts are ready.

  9. Mooresville gardener here, and I grew corn that grew up to 10 feet tall last year! I came up with a stalk-supporting method that used some thicker string, garden stakes – I'll DM you a pic on IG!!!

  10. I’m in Texas and I’m so late this year. I had a total knee replacement and I overestimated how much I could tolerate doing. I gotta get some things going quickly, because the 90s are around the corner.

  11. I'm so thrilled to find a gardening channel based in Charlotte. I grew up here and still work here, but now live below the state line. I'm a beginner for sure, but try to stick to planting things meant for our hardiness zone, so your channel is perfect. Plus you have a very relaxing and calming demeanor. I could almost listen to your videos as ASMR if I wasn't jotting down notes the whole time!

  12. Is all of the irrigation hooked up to one water hose somewhere? I want to do some beds but would need irrigation and just not figuring out in my head how it would work out 😂

  13. I love your yard, I want to know how you keep weeds down between beds, how thick that mulch is, and how big your yard is? I want to do something similar in my yard, I want no grass and a bunch of plants.
