My girlfriend surprised me with this absolute grail plant!
Never thought I would ever see one of these in person, let alone own one! My girlfriend has definitely pulled a big surprise on me! Wouldn’t mind any advice/tips on keeping it healthy and happy!
You’re one lucky fella ,it looks like a euphorbia stock and I don’t even know what the scion is. Somebody will know!
Charantula
That’s an awesome Euphorbia abdelkuri *cv. damask*! Growing it grafted definitely gives me extra peace of mind. I’m in Zone 9A—mine sits under a sun sail, protected from harsh midday sun but still getting plenty of late afternoon light. I usually overwinter it in the garage from December through March.

You know what you’re doing and living in that climate helps out a lot ,youre still a lucky guy! Im over here in 5A pacific north west i depend on lights
CymeTyme
E. abdelkuri cv. damask can begin showing discoloration and issues after several years on the same grafting stock, needing regrafting. You can see a bit of discoloration already occurring on the largest arm.
You may want to experiment with some grafts of easier species in the case you’ll need to regraft in several years.
