To be honest, the majority of my property is zoysia. I really love my lawn, but I always try to leave room for nature. I have a large vegetable garden and expansive pollinator garden. This year, I decided to let my wild blackberries grow. My neighbor is threatening to call codes! Bitch, we're out in the county 😂

I’m in the country and have 2 acres of blackberries that had smothered and killed everything except the tallest trees. I had to hire a forestry mulcher to remove them and I’m going to be battling them for at least 5-6 more years until I can start getting a good tree cover. They are the bane of my existence.
I will note that I’m in the PNW and they’re highly invasive here.
