Never been great with plants but really want to get better. I really love these two just getting them today. Robert (the devilshead) got a little bit of water and immediately put under the grow light, didn't break apart his roots as I read he didn't enjoy being manhandled haha. Necrotizing Fasciitis (the nerve plant) is sitting in water for a little while to soak up (since I read he likes damp soil), timing him for about an hour or so. Broke apart his roots. Both had very dry soil and Robert did not have a pot, he was bare roots on the shelf. Gave them the grow light because they are in my office on my desk, with only a small window near the ceiling.

Any advice for either of them would be so greatly appreciated. I really want to take proper care of these two. Am willing to buy humidifier etc if recommended!!

P.S. I hope this is the right subreddit lol, if there's somewhere else I should be please let me know!

I would move the nerve plant to a different pot. Unglazed terra cotta wicks moisture and, as you said, nerve plants like to be moist
