Before/After

I over-seeded with clover a couple years ago with plans to eventually turn more of our yard into garden eventually. This past winter, everyone in our neighbourhood noticed voles galore despite the snow (4a/3b zone).
I’m more annoyed that they ate my asters too!

I don’t understand?!? It says before/after, but the photos are clearly two different areas. The small tree and raised planter are nowhere in the second photo; and the concrete in the second photo, is nowhere in the first.
