So I have this monstera that I’ve had for 6+ years that’s been in the same soil for 4-5 years. I posted and all recommended obviously that I repot it in some fresh soil to help it grow. Well when I pulled it out of the pot, a lot of roots were stuck to the bottom and this is what I had. I decided to do a Hail Mary and plant it in the white pot I had already bought even though it’s too big for the amount of roots I have. This is after a month and this is how it looks. Should I pull it and repot again??

It’s probably in extreme shock still from having all it’s roots separated so hopefully it’ll recover as it grows new roots. As long as they’re not turning yellow. Just be sure to let the soil dry completely before re-watering
This just happened to me and I took some of the aerials roots and buried them. The leaves are kind of droopy but this was done yesterday so I have my fingers crossed for mine and yours 🙏🏽
If in doubt stick it in a bowl of water. Let her grow more roots. Then repot
