I'm just wondering if someone can confirm that this is wild blue phlox. I tried winter sowing some but they didn't germinate. These bloomed and I was looking at them today and thought to myself I already have some growing!

I've been trying to get rid of them from my bed the last 2 years because they were kind if getting out of control. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I'm such an idiot!! I might just put myself on time out.

I'm in SEPA 7a in case my location doesn't show up with my username.

Thanks in advance.

yes! Great photos. I didn’t realize these had fragrance until someone said it here recently, so be sure to take a whiff.

I’m on the wrong end of PA but I’d happily come thin some for you. Been trying to track this one down to plant. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

They look exactly like the phlox divaricata I just bought, so I would say yes!

Time out is wise with plants lol. Always good to wait and learn what the thing is – it may, in wonderful cases like this, save you money and help the heart! The Creator has willed it.

I wish mine would get out of control 🤣
