Hi everyone, first post here cause I need some help and opinions from people more experienced than me.

Long text but I think it has all the important information.

Context: have this beauty for exactly 3 years now, u can see it grew pretty well I guess, I was surprised how fast it made new leaves (last image is how it was when I brought it home). We repot it 2 or 3 times, just to give it more space and more chances to grow. It never needed so much stuff, just water bath and sometimes just few water spray on the leaves.
It stopped to make new leaves like 2 or 3 months ago (I guess) and that was pretty unusual. As I said, it made new leaves always really fast, one from the first stem, then from the other one, then again and again. No new leaves, no problems. But now some little leaves at the bottom are turning yellow, which I know it’s normal. Another one is turning yellow, and that’s not a little one, it’s one of the first with cuts in it.
I’m a bit worried it could be something more serious. It’s the first ‘problem’ I have with it.

I have considered a few possible causes:
– I cut 2 weeks ago 4 or 5 big, long and not so beautiful roots. They were no more manageable, like 1,5 meters or even more on the floor. I thought the monstera might have had a shock.
– these leaves are more on the dark side, they not taking so much light as the whole plant (it’s about space problem, not cause I don’t want them to take the light, obv).

Bottom leaves turning yellow like this is generally over watering, or soil mix staying too wet for too long.
