Hey everyone! First time repotting my Thai Con and I want to make sure I do this right. She's been in a 6in self watering pot and is super root bound. Here are my questions:
**Self-watering pot, yes or no?**
She seems to really thrive in her self-watering setup. I kind of want to continue this approach but I also wanted to use a much chunkier mix like "Molly's Aroid Mix". Is that mix too chunky for a self-watering?
**Pot size, 8" or bigger?**
I was planning to go up 2in to an 8in pot. With how large and root bound she is should I go larger?
**Moss pole tips?**
I really want to get her climbing. I know I shouldn't attach the petioles to a moss pole and I dont really see too much stem yet. Do I wait or start trying to train her now? Do I need a larger pot than 8in of I plan on using a moss pole?
Thanks so much!
