I ordered a Compton carousel off of Etsy and misread the listing thinking it was going to come in an actual pot. It’s small and sad but definitely salvageable.

How do I plant this so I don’t kill my $40 plant?

That is normal. People actually prefer no pot and no soil and wrapped in tissue when being shipped due to pots having pest issues and being more damaged. Listing normally tell you the size of the pot so you know how big the plant is going to be.

I recommend putting it in succulent soil and letting it wait a week before watering. It looks like a healthy plant just a little thirsty
