  1. This is beautiful! How does it hold up to your pup?

I have an Aussie who loves to run and he is tearing stuff up, so i have a great opportunity with bare soil here

How are you encouraging them to spread? I noticed a few in my yard last spring, and this spring about ⅓ of my yard had them(they’re even fighting the creeping Charlie in some areas), but I would love as close to full coverage as I can get

Do they die back in winter and leave a muddy yard? Or do they turn brown but stay in place like grass does? I am nowhere near a grass-less lawn but I’ve always wondered how that works in the winter

Your lawn is beautiful! Do you know the variety of speedwell and violets? I had larger violets that were not native and felt horrible to walk on.

Mine is about 40% violets, 40% ajuga, 10% grass, 10% invasive weeds
