Hey there I'm a new houseplant mama. I got this beauty about a month ago and I see it's just starting to bloom. Everything I read online says the leaves stick straight up, when they're droopy then they need water etc. just curious what y'all think. Personally, I think it looks happy.

No. Give her to me. I’ll rehab her. Probably a lost cause, so no need to ask for her back.

    It looks beautiful.
Doesn’t require a whole lot of light either. If the leaves are drooping, just give it water and it will perk relight back up. Also usually I snip the flowers off as they take energy away from the growing plant. Also cut off any dying leaves and new leaves will appear. Enjoy your plants babies.

It has a lot if blooms so I’d say its happy. Peace Lillys need a lot of light to make blooms. I have mine in front of a window. When I consistently remember to open the blinds for it, it will give me a lot of blooms. Currently I’ve remembered daily to open the blinds, I am excited so see how many it will give me this time

    It looks so good! 🌿

✅ | multiple blooms, and in progress blooms

✅ | glossy, deep green and mature leaves

✅ | most leaves are in a nice turgid state, though might be in the process of sucking up water to astute her leaves if recently watered. If you are an insecure waterer, play it safe and wait until the next confident water, when you know she needs it, or is getting close.

❕| the tips of the leaves are a bit crispy, which is usually a sign of improper humidity. it’s really a personal aesthetic preference, though I bet she would appreciate her new home feeling a bit more like her tropical environment!

so pretti, thanks for gracing us with pictures🤍
do you have a name for her?
