1: Pokeweed
2: Oak
The first is pokeweed, a super important native berry producer for native birds. This very much your friend, it’ll get pretty tall.
The second is an Oak of some sort. Oaks are the single most important organism in the North American ecosystem so very much your friend. It’ll get taller than the pokeweed.
