He’s full, and taking a break from eating,
    it’s a marathon, not a sprint..

Have a little fun, make a little love, eat aphids tonight.

  3. Their babies eat more aphids than the adults.  They are doing exactly what they should be doing.

  4. Chazz_Matazz

Get some lacewing larvae, they’ll do a better job.

  5. KNKbarber

Oh to be a lady bug eating a buffet of aphids, screwing on leaf, and then taking a nap. Living the dream.

  6. Skeets5977

They are making more workers, give them a little privacy. Maybe throw on some Barry White.

  7. emorrigan

I go out every day and rage smush aphids on my roses. I’m confident that it basically makes no difference whatsoever, but it makes me feel better, so yeah.

  8. sesamesnapsinhalf

Congrats. The babies are more voracious.

One time I was getting out of my car and saw a ladybug climbing on my door handle. I asked it if it wanted a job and it flew away immediately. Sometimes they just don’t want to work. Though maybe these ones are giving you long term coverage

Himbo ladybugs. Just sweet, beautiful idiots

Can you hear “Careless Whisper” in the background?

  12. their young eat more aphids than the parents

  13. I never knew you could buy ladybirds. How do you get them to stay? My lupins were growing through amazingly but now they are absolutely infested with aphids- it has knocked back at least 3 of my plants. This year was supposed to be their first flowering. I’m devastated. Needed this win

  14. _s0m3guy

Woah woah here, priorities. You wan’t it fixed fast – we’ll need make a few more to get the job done. I think you’re looking at this from the wrong perspective. :3

They decided it’s too many to eat, so they need to make some to help out.

  17. andraaBD

They are doing some physical activities to get hungry.

  18. woolen_goose

Most ladybugs are being poached and travel so far that mostly die by the time they get sold.

  19. This is a good thing, because their larva are far more voracious predators. So you get a little ladybug splooge in your salad… that’s just a bonus.

  20. Agreeable-Fault2273

Always gotta knock on the door to the break room.

  21. NotThatAngel

They’re making backup for a serious infestation. Ladybug larvae are voracious predators.

  22. Well-ManneredPeasant

“We’re gonna need backup… Sharon, let’s get to it!” 🫡
[Edit to add fun fact: the kids will eat more aphids than the adults do. Let ’em make whoopie!]

  23. You’re the one trying to overwork them, they are just trying to increase the number of employees to get the job done.

  24. Autocannibal-Horse

They are merely increasing staffing to meet demands.

  25. bleepbloop1777

They’re just making more soldiers 😊
