  2. Just curious, do you sell any spreadsheets of your veggie varieties and planting schedule? I live in Fayetteville and am trying to learn as quickly as possible how to maximize my growing season. Thank you so much!

  3. I have a friend who does a dance while scattering her flower seeds. A little extra joy goes a long way. 🙂

  4. So far, this is my best gardening year to date (provided pests don’t take us out). I spent all weekend separating seedlings because every seed decided to sprout this year and I didn’t want to just “thin” them because they all looked super healthy!

  5. My sweet potatoes came up in early April from some I missed harvesting last year. Zone 9b, somewhat north east Florida.

  6. I like to eat seminole pumpkins when they are green, like zucchini. I planted in April, I will probably plant more in case they don't make it through summer. They are doing fantastic

  7. Sweet potatoes are so easy to grow that when I was in grade school I suspended a store-bought sweet potato with toothpicks halfway into a jar of water. Two or three of the eyes sprouted, and it was a beautiful plant! I also got a regular potato to sprout that way, but to my young eyes, it was NOT a beautiful plant 😆

  8. SE Texas here! I've harvested 4 zucchini already. Been harvesting radishes for a couple weeks.

I have one tomato plants that is 5' tall with about 8 to 10 tomatoes on it already.

Butternut nut, acorn and yellow squash are just a few days away!

I planted seedlings the first week of March. We had a rare freeze that killed about half of my squash and 100% of my cucumbers and melons.

But I was ready! I still had enough seedlings in my greenhouse to replace all the dead plants and gave my Mother In Law 2 or 3 of nearly everything I've planted!

This week, I plan to start 3 or 4 of each squash, melon and cucumber, so they are on stand by when something starts looking bad!

This is my first year to do this. I normally nurse along my nearly dead squash and melons, just to get a couple more off each one.

This year I want fresh veggies the whole summer. I have shade cloth ready to reply too.

Some of my squash are not liking the direct sun all day already!

  9. I love our long growing season. It's so hot for so long here in GA starting in April, we are eating watermelons and tomatoes into December. We just throw row covers on until a hard freeze.

  10. We have still been in the mid to high 40’s at night. This week we will move into the 50’s at night so I will start cucumbers on Wednesday.

  11. Best part of the video…. that furry goofball melting with the scratchies… bet he sniffs and stomps everywhere you're working

  12. ROFLMBO! Dale LOVES audio-testing time!❤ He is so lovably goofy! That sweet face of delirious joy!

  13. I noticed these little sprouts in my front yard under my bird feeders under my big maple tree. . I used google lens to identify them. Turns out they are Sunflowers (from the seeds being dropped by birds.) I’m going to transplant this little unexpected gifted crop in the sun.

  14. Anthony….do you have a regular job outside of your gardening? Just curious. I can imagine perhaps that you might be teaching horticulture with your vast knowledge. Your gardening and YouTube channel seems like more than a full time job.

  15. Blessed to have beautiful, warm sunny days here in South Florida Anthony. I hope you have a bountiful harvest this year!🐶🐕😎

  16. I’ve been trying to grow flowers but the local squirrels keep killing them by digging in any and all loose dirt

  17. MY Crispy Crunchy are growing much slower than all my other cucumbers, like Merlins, and partytime. Is that normal

  18. still stuck on frost-tolerant crops here in Southern Ohio 😢thought we were finally done, but we'll get to ~35F over weekend.

collected ~100 gallons of rainwater in a single night from a big storm, and got a weed tea bucket and aerator set up and bubbling away. potatoes and fava beans are doing fantastic, at least (potatoes took a little damage from frost earlier this month when I failed to get them inside overnight but recovered wonderfully). carrots, scarlet runner beans, and cucumbers are doing well. bush beans would do well if the animals would quit devouring the leaves; thinking about starting a stoat ranch or raptor preserve. for second year in a row, I still can't seem to get any chicory to grow (it didn't seem to like the clay last year, so tried a raised bed with neutral potting soil this year); scratching my head over that one. worst problem has been the intense UV when it's not freezing or drowning outside; never had so much sunburn trouble in April; definitely feels awkward bringing my sunburned peppers inside because it's too cold out, but it feels too incorrect to spray pepper leaves with kaolin clay mix or putting them under shade cloth.

  19. Thanks for the great videos! I also live in NC. Can you help with companion planting? I have 3 elevated planters 2×4 and a 4×10 raised bed. I want bell peppers, cucumbers, watermelon (vertical), lettuce, summer squash & zucchini. Any advice will be appreciated.
