I recently bought a house that has a lot of this for the flower beds and a tree ring. Looks great but not something I would do.

I’ve heard that in warmer areas these can get baked by the sun and cause the grass near them to die or brown prematurely. Have you heard of anything like that and what are your plans to combat it?

I can’t stand the way those things look, but that’s what’s great about choices. Do as you see fit.

Concrete is hard work, I’m in the field. I love my job tho. It’s gotten very expensive recently so I understand wanting to do it on your own.
