Anyone recognize this plant? I suspect it is native but I cannot find it in my Austin natives guide. I think they were swarming with butterflies last year and wanted to get some to plant.

This is salvia greggi, pollinators love it and as a perennial it will return year over year
It’s a “Nativar” or a cultivar of a native species. Not harmful but may have more limited wildlife benefit than an actually-native, local-ecotype species. You can look up “nativar” to get more info/opinions on that topic if you’re interested.
