Unfortunately my mental health lately has been lagging. And even more unfortunately, my plants were neglected because of it. However, today was a turn around for me. And I did what I'd been neglecting to do and I repotted my survivors who stuck it out with me and came out the other side. This might be meaningless and miniscule, but for me, it was a huge step and sign of better days. So please, save your hate, because atleast I'm doing better today than I was yesterday.

Yes!! I fully understand this, and I’m proud of you for taking this step! I’m glad that you’re feeling better today than yesterday and I hope you are feeling better tomorrow than you are today! Beautiful plants, by the way

Yo. I am so forking proud of you! Better than yesterday is amazing. It is not minuscule nor meaningless!

Spending time with my houseplants definitely helps me smile through the wild adventures of life.

I was having a rough go the last couple weeks, had a seizure last week, and I had 4 freaking doctors appointments between monday and yesterday!
So, treated myself to a new plant… then, today, I had this rush of rare energry and motivation and cleaned my whole house… except fold the laundry. Fuck that shit.

Seriously though, I’m proud of you!

Even if your mental health affects your plants, they can also motivate you. They don’t hate you for neglecting them, nor good a grudge. You might keep them going, but they’re here for you and this worth celebrating and feeling accomplished no matter how many plants have died in your past.

Unless you’re specifically responsible for deforestation and unapologetic waste dumping. Then shame on you!

    Incredible job!
I’m proud of you – for more than just doing plant chores. They made it, but more importantly YOU made it. Things might not be 100% okay, but today was a win. I hope that as your plants thrive they can serve as a lil reminder for how you’re feeling today.
