Need some assistance with coming up with a solution to this; my mulch bed between the driveway and the breezeway is completely surrounded by either concrete or asphalt and it’s causing the mulch to swamp out of the bed over the walkway. Any feedback on what could be done to remediate this? I’ve thought about making the bed deeper to help with more absorption or alternatively a French drain, but for the drain solution I’m not positive on where I could even direct it to. Pictures attached.

For one, that downspout contraption is disconnected.
I would probably plumb it to the low spot of your yard, underground. Ideally that would involve digging up the sidewalk, which needs replacing anyways.
Water probably needs to go down the driveway or under the sidewalk and into the yard to the right. Water can’t stay in the house/driveway/sidewalk sided dirt area. As a temp fix — the unrolling when wet/raining “tubes” can be set to unroll across sidewalk (not a permanent fix??).
