AI came up with beautiful ideas. Just remember Hosta need mostly shade with a minimal of about 4 hrs morning sun. Glad you decided to grow a small garden, nothing like fresh vegetables right in your back yard. Glad you are back😁
To save money on compost I would just use it in the planting holes. I’ve had good luck with the $5 bags of mushroom compost at Menards. I think 2 bags would be more than enough to do the 4 beds and if you till up an area for corn just use to over the seeds. And if you have any left over use it to top dress the beds. God bless
