I’ve never grown radishes before but this is what I got. This one was one pack of seeds we planted, we had another variety, and I threw away the bag. But why is it not radish looking?

The leaves looked really nice and it started popping up in the dirt so I picked it. None of the other ones looked quite big enough yet.

This is likely an icicle radish. It means the seed wasn’t “clean”- that there is some varietal variation instead of only what you expected.

This looks exactly like my daikon radishes.

Yeah I have some weird looking radishes but yours takes the cake lol

  4. This frequently happens with pepper varieties, my Hungarian hot wax and ghost peppers turned out to be mostly bell peppers lol

Burpee sells icicle radishes. Looks like you got a mislabeled bag.

I say LUCKY YOU! You can find cherry bell radish seeds at the Dollar Tree, but the icicle radish seeds are worth (a little) bit more.

I also prefer French breakfast styled radishes over globes, but ymmv
