Rain water or distilled water. NO TAP WATER. You don’t need to feed it bugs. Just keep it wet.
Just place it outside in full sun in a deep saucer full of distilled or reverse osmosis water and it’ll catch bugs on it’s own
Put it outside in the sun, it will attract its own food.
They will catch MANY insects all by themselves. Keep it outside in full all day Sun. At the end of summer you will find a LOT of bugs in those pitchers.
