How do I propagate the seeds that I got from this red air plant? I harvested them yesterday from the dry blooms. I’d like to start new plants that I see people on here doing from seed.
I’m not an expert by any means, but I recently started growing some from seed for the first time! I started by soaking them in water for about 2 weeks until I saw green tips on the seeds. Next, I moved them to various substrates to try- they need to stay moist but not too wet. The best ones were sphagnum moss, coco coir, and loose cotton fluff (unrolled cotton balls). They’ve been sitting on the substrate for a few weeks now (I think almost a month… I know I wrote the start date somewhere haha) and I water them every few days by spraying with rainwater. Best of luck with your seeds!
