Started my first terrarium about 2 months ago. The plants are growing like weeds but one of the sticks seemed to be starting to break down. I brought home some isopods today and they seem to be having a great time with it 😆

Looks great! I would add springtails too, they help to keep the tank clean.
1.date of creation: March 10-ish, 2026
2.plants in build: mostly stuff from my prop box- begonias, some ferns, two hoyas, rainbow moss, some moss from my office parking lot 😅, and a syngonium albo that’s definitely too big to be in there.
3.light source: window
4.water cycle: tap water ( though I’ll be switching to distilled) every two weeks-ish
5.Substrate medium: peat moss, worm castings, charcoal and coco chips
6.Enclosure size : maybe a gallon or two
Beautiful! I was thinking if buying this exact terrarium/housing but I wasn’t sure it’d maintain moisture well, but k can tell it does so I’ll probably get it, thanks!
