  1. What happened to the birds? Oops. I see that you moved them to a new place in the yard. 😀

    Your yard looks great.

  2. Just wondering were you all unable to use your wheelbarrow? That would’ve cut down on a lot of the back and forth for just the one piece.

  3. What a big difference that garden looks now! Very nice! The new lawn, the planting, the cute sand box with the umbrella for Athena and everything. I love the fake rose fence! And the gel stain on the railing looks very nice! You did a great job, Cambriea! Looks so nice and beautiful!

  4. Are you a vampire? 🤣 My mom and daughter are allergic to the sun too and we tease them about being vampires. It all looks beautiful!

  5. For plants in full sun, better to water early in the morning so any drops on them can dry up before it gets too hot and plants end up burnt because of the sun on the wet leaves. Same for the grass – watering during the heat of the day can cause the grass to burn from the heat of the sun – better to water in early morning. I find that using a sprinker is better than hand held hose – you get more water to the roots.

  6. Boy has cookie grown. I know it's a small tiller, but you need Snickers next time please, the yard looks really good.
God bless and keep you guys🦋🪻

  7. Laying sod is the WORST! Our house and all the houses on our block were brand new when we moved in and no one had yards yet, all the neighbors would run and hide when they would see a neighbor get sod delivered because no one wants to help 🙂 My back hurt for a month after that bloody fricken nightmare…

Du abreistest super, sieht man selten!

  9. It’s so strange hearing you calling it SOD us here in the U.K. call it TURF lol and I know the pain I have always done own landscaping grow my own vegetables and fruits which have been hit and miss due to U.K. weather great job ❤

  10. I wrote a comment on your last video about sun allergy and what helps me with mine 🙂

  11. One rule of thumb is….if you really want your plants to survive. Pick plants that can withstand 2 plant zones lower than which you live. So if you're in a 9 plant zone, find plants that can handle zones 7 and up.
That way, if you do get a much chiller winter than usual. Your plants will still survive and you're not constantly replacing plants.

And of course always make sure they are a perennial. Annuals do not come back year after year.

  12. So sorry to hear about your troubles with the sun. It sounds similar to something I have, so I want to tell you how I manage mine. I luckily don't have it on my hands, so I can't give any advice on that.
The only way for me to prevent it is covering my skin. If you look at sports wear a lot of it doesn't feel as warm to wear so go get yourself some t-shirts with long sleeves or some loose long sleeves. Prof. cyclists here in Denmark wears loose long sleeves so we can buy them in shops with sport gear, but you can also make your own by cutting the legs of a pair of leggings.
The best help for me when I do get the rash is zinc ointment – I'm not sure that is the correct English word for it, but it is a white ointment used on babies butts when you change the diaper. It works wonders for me – I normally feel the rash in the evening, so I put the ointment on before bed and next morning my skin feels so much better.
The ointment is white and makes your skin white, but it is easy to wash off. If you get in on your clothes or bedding is goes of in the washing machine.

  13. Hey sweet lady. I see that you are getting a lot of comments with pretty good feedback. The yard and house is looking amazing. But I will add one more thing, always amend the soil when planting with some type of biotone, fertilizer or osmo cot. It helps the roots, and it will produce a better plant. You go girl it looks great🎉🎉🎉
