I’m in the beginning design phase on a large 48”x18”x36” frog enclosure.

I’ve used the small submersible foggers in the past and am weighing the option of using a larger external unit and piping in the fog. I’ve never used the larger units and am looking for feedback from the community. Preferably people with hands on experience 😉

Most people recommend a spray system to avoid respiratory issues.

You can diy one pretty easy or buy a ready to go kit for like $25. To diy just get any smart outlet, a small diaphragm pump, water line, spray nozzle. It will probably be like $10-15 on aliexpress. I would suggest a smart power strip if you have more devices like lights and heaters, which may cost a bit more initially but is a good investment and keeps things clean.

Whichever method you choose, I would use ro or distilled water to prevent any mineral build up on the system as well as keep chlorine and stuff off of the frogs.

Every external fogger I’ve bought has died within a year. I probably went thru 5 of them before I gave up.
