New house, first project

These old oaks needed a little love. Hand pulled all the grass and weeds. Cut a boarder while carefully making sure I don't cut any roots. Mixed about a half yard of compost into the old "mulch" and covered the whole bed in 2.5 yards of mulch.

I added a baby retaining wall where the property line is, as mulch was washing down that side.

I know the grass still needs a lot of work, but ya gotta start somewhere!
