It’s a flower that attracts its pollinators, flies. It probably has a rotting meat type of smell to it. Very beautiful but very strange. Some sort or carrion flowering plant like a stapelia

Looks like my guy, I’ve always heard it called it a dragon flower cactus or carrion plant.
