Help! My terrarium is being overtaken by mold

I’ve had this terrarium for about a year now. My girlfriend and I made it together, so it means a lot to me. I’d really like to avoid tearing it down and starting from scratch if possible.

Recently, I’ve been dealing with persistent mold that doesn’t seem to go away.

I’ve already tried:

– Leaving the terrarium open to reduce humidity

– Introducing springtails (but they don’t seem to establish or thrive)

Neither approach has solved the issue so far.

Is there any way to get rid of mold in a terrarium without completely restarting it? Or is that realistically the only option at this stage?

Any advice, tips, or insight would be really appreciated.
