Service berries are native to much of North America. They have beautiful white flowers in spring, berries that are edible to humans and lots of birds and wildlife, and gorgeous fall color! They come in lots of varieties my personal favorite is Autumn brilliance, multi stem because of the gorgeous round shape. Autumn brilliance single stem is a great replacement for the invasive Bradford pear tree!

  1. The near slip for Bradford sh*t tree 😂 I'm glad we don't have that many in my area! Lots of lilac, magnolia and crabapple though

  2. Mpls Mn the park board plants some serviceberry trees, but is they are also planting a lot of non-native trees, which makes me sad.
