I’m into the weirdo’s of the plant world, the mutants like any all crested cacti. So when I first saw this plant Welwitschai Mirabilias I wanted one. They are hard to come by at a reasonable price. I snagged this one today at UC Davis Botanical Conservatory’s spring sale.

I was so sad they don’t ship those. I saw the post this week for the sale of that huge one! It is sooo cool but sad they need to sell it to cover costs
