One of our favourite things to do as Brits in the summer is head down to the local pub with our friends and family and have a pint in the sun. Essex has hundreds of pubs with brilliant beer gardens perfect for any occasion, whether it be before a big night out or stopping for a quick drink to wet the whistle while on a dog walk.

There are some famous for their gorgeous seaside or riverside views, some for being dog-friendly. Others are more about the drinks you can order, live music, or outdoor kitchens.

Here in Essex, we’re so lucky to have so many wonderful pubs so it would be difficult to visit them all! Instead of providing you all with some options, we want our readers to vote for their favourite beer garden.
