Had a funny (at least to me lol) plant moment yesterday.

I recently stumbled upon a Cercestis mirabilis on Etsy and fell in love. I kept going back and forth on it for a bit since I could only find one US-based seller. It’s a preorder for an acclimated TC, but the reviews were solid so I finally decided to go for it.

Later in the day, I stopped by IKEA… and they had a fake Cercestis mirabilis just sitting there like it’s a totally normal plant to see out in the wild. πŸ˜†

Such random timing for a plant I don’t recall seeing anywhere before. Super excited for the real one!

Remember they are super slow growers. Like 2-3 leaves per year slow. Depending on the surroundings, it can be even slower. Don’t ever let pests have a home on it.
