I bought a tiny pot of String of Pearls in early January. It was GROWING, and then… it got cold and damp and cloudy for days straight (teens at night and thirties in the day) and it was a struggle to keep the house in the mid sixties during the day. All but two of the strings in the pot died. One is half dead and seems to be in stasis. Since February, this one isn't growing any new pearls at all, but it is growing ROOTS. I originally had it in a much smaller pot, but had to up size because the roots are many and over six inches long. It gets all the filtered sunlight (it's in a greenhouse), airflow, and moonlight any plant could long for. It won't grow any new pearls beyond the six it has, but at least it looks healthy.

I would try putting it in sphagnum moss. I’ve had nothing but success with propping pearls and many other strings in sphagnum moss. I had one that did exactly what yours was doing and I put it in moss and lightly watered it when it dried out and now it’s in a 4inch pot taking up the entire thing and spilling out. I think that put is a little too big for what you have. It’s ok if the roots are a little crammed.
