The leaves on my violet have a discoloration on the edges, but not on the underside of the leaves. I fear it’s possible water damage, too much light or worse a pest. I got this plant over a month ago and repotted it into a self wicking pot a few days ago. Thanks in advance!!

It’s hard to tell from the photos. I don’t see damage – nothing looks nibbled or dried out or mushy. The leaves are odd-shaped, but it may be a long, wavy-leafed variety (longifolia). If the plant is young, it may be that it has Tommy Lou variegation that’s just beginning to be expressed on the foliage. I’m just not sure. Mites don’t usually damage leaf edges. Snails and earwigs might, but indoors? Keep us informed if you will…
The blooms are beautiful. Good luck with your plant.
