He grew it from a tiny shrub and is incredibly proud of it. They are moving soon and he says it's the only thing he'll miss.

He's saved it from disease a few times too.

Is it possible to like…move it?

    It’s definitely possible, but I imagine it would be very expensive. Taking a cutting might be a good way of preserving its legacy but I don’t know how well acers root and it doesn’t sound like you’d have time for a proper air-layer

    The good news is there’s a great opportunity to do it again!! There’s a lot of new cultivars (I’m sure) that have been established over the past 36 years!

    Also, r/marijuanaenthusiasts may have some advice or propagating and what have you ☺️
