Recently picked this up and I’m thinking it’s several plants in the same pot, but this is only my second monstera and my other is a teeny tiny one year old so is nowhere near this developed. If I repot this (which I’d probably need to do just to get some sort of support in the pot) will I have multiple plants or are we thinking this is just one?

5-7 maybe 😳😬
Indeed about 5 or 6 in there! way too many…
I’m still trying to figure out why they do this..
Oh my !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get those hands dirty!! Be careful though if the roots are fused together you may have to make a decision to keep them all together:) Have fun!!!🤩
I see 6-7 Winner winner.
I just recently did this maybe a month ago. Ended up with 7 plants and 5 of them already have new growth. Have fun and good luck!
“how many do you see?”
Yes
I see 5, but I guess it’s more.
Put one on a damp sphagnum moss pole, try one on a plank, and keep a few together. For science!
🤷♀️ 6 7 🤷♀️
I was born in 1992. I’ll see myself out.
I bought one just like this and was wondering if I should separate the girls. Glad to have some input.
Too many in one pot. Forsure
I have a similar monstera I bought an year ago. Left it in the same pot ( too scared to repot). I recently took it to a greenhouse nearby and they suggested to just keep it in the same pot and prune. That’s what I’ve been doing and I have about 8 new plants from this.
It looks great just the way it is.. when we take them apart. They look lanky
Way to many for one pot. I have three in one pot they became root bound quickly. I separated to one in each pot it made it easier to add support for the plant to grow.
