COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – There’s an art exhibit on the Texas A&M campus that highlights the work of some students in the Horticulture Sciences department.
“We have partnered with Enid Collins handbags from a collector from Colorado,” said Wendy Osborn, Director of the Benz School of Floral Design. “She has sent over 100 purses and handbags for us to look at and enjoy in her collection of Finding Enid with Love.”
Osborn says the students were able to explore their own artistic abilities. The result is now being showcased in Elements with Enid.
The floral design students created interpretive floral designs to complement the collection of handbags.
Elements with Enid is on display through May 10 at the J. Wayne Stark Galleries on the Texas A&M campus.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
