A fantastic boost for your introduction into hydroponic farming at home! These amazing sponges are crafted from an exciting DIY project that not only enhances your gardening experience but also allows you to explore your creative side. I love kickstarting seeds under brilliant grow lights that provide the perfect amount of illumination for optimal growth. After just 1-2 weeks of nurturing your seeds, a sunny windowsill becomes an optional way to save on electricity costs while still enhancing growth naturally. The hydroponic setup I use is a kratky system, which means no circulation is needed, making it a low-maintenance option for busy gardeners. This method allows for a more straightforward approach to growing your plants without the hassle of pumps or complex systems. Music: Koto San by Ofshane adds a delightful ambiance as you watch your plants thrive, creating a serene atmosphere in your indoor gardening space. Dive into this project and discover the joy of growing your own vegetables right at home!

Wow
You donโt put any plant food?
Nice
What nutrien solution do you use?
Could use a natural sponge to right? ๐ค Could then grow the sponge to start seedlings maybe. ๐ค
This is how to eat microplastics 101. We eat enough
Looks great, but donโt forget, when your system is in a greenhouse, the water can get very hot. You have to cool down the water๐
Is that rock wool?
The sponge is a good idea .. will try that
Thats spinach in the first clip lol. Not lettuce. I grow both indoor and outdoors๐
How do you keep the ph levels in the water consistent?
what are u using in the nutrient solution?
I love how so many people are giving you "advice" not realising this your little experiment. You will learn by your own mistakes and you are showing others how to become their own scientists ๐โค
I will have to try this. Amazing ๐
Dont use sponge bob๐ข try mineral rockwall isolation๐ its clean and natural, and plants love it
What are the little black cups you put the plants in after theyโve germinated? Do you make those yourself or is there a cheap buyable option?
๐๐๐๐โคโคโคโค nice job.
Plastic is toxic.
What nutrients do you feed the plants ??
I have just started this method of Hydro-Lettuce, I was very and highly surprise how quickly my Lettuce Seeds propagate using a 2" mesh net cups w/some clay pellets and a solo cup. I put a few seeds on top of the pellets, and put all 3 cups in my computer room, next to the window. I did use hydro fertilizer, and w/in about 3 days, the Lettuce Seeds had propagated, where as outside in the garden, I would not see any success. For now I will see how things work out, will use a 5 gallon Yellow Lid & Black container from Lowe's w/an air fish tank pump, but for now, I will keep them in the Solo Cups, to grow a week or two more. Thank You.
Nice video, I use pool noodles
Grow light where I will get
