I live in an town-home complex with tons of wild turkeys living in the surrounding trees. One of them decided to nest their eggs on our car port because it has tree cover. I'm afraid of the chicks falling to their deaths as soon as they're born because she laid them ON the edge (they've almost fallen a time or two). It's now been 25 days and it seems like they'll hatch any time soon.
Can I move them off the car port and next to the tree without her abandoning them? I've been thinking about doing that while she's out for food.

Go for it, the hen might notice and return sooner but if you can get it done why not
Best chance is to do it at night to lower the risk of her leaving.
Unfortunately there is not much you can do, too many interruptions to her nest will cause her to leave.
There are also legality issues in most states to prevent the disturbance of wild turkey nests.
Best you can do is be careful and pray you get lucky enough she doesn’t abandon the eggs. It’s roughly a 50% chance.
Edit: also the idea that wild birds leave their eggs because they smell human scent is a myth, they leave due to fear and disruption.
I’d use a push broom and just move the nest toward the middle.
i would wait for the opinion of someone knowledgable rather than some random. As a random, i say leave them be
