Very new to plants. So we recently got this chamois aster from the nursery. Im in the PNW, and this little fella sits in a south facing box window that only has mostly sun (some tree limbs dapple it at times but it gets sun.)
but lately the leaves have started to curl downward! I was hoping to plant it outside soon, because it’s in a tiny little container right now, but I don’t know whats going on with it.
I have a soil moisture prong reader and I try to only water it when it comes out dry, but so far it has been retaining moisture for a while.
(I’ve drowned many a plant so the tool is my second opinion to keep me from water boarding them.)
What is going on with it? Should I wait on planting it outside? I have a pot ready, but I could also find a sunny spot to plant it in ground. I just want to try and do gardening/plant-tending right this time. Thank you for y’all’s patience.
