What do you think?

Battle is not over yet. Some ivy and a hazelnut need to be dug up in the last section. Planning on doing a river rock garden in the last section with a red maple, some azaleas and some hostas. Any additional ideas?

Amazing! You had a monumental task with that before situation. It looks beautiful now and much healthier. Definitely some hostas would look great and add some soft structure

Removing that ivy alone must’ve been so much work. It looks amazing!
Also I personally love hazelnut. Are you able to possibly trim it up and keep it? Or is it too big/in a bad stop? If so I completely understand. I just think hazelnuts are so pretty and provide so many benefits to wildlife. Plus you can eat it too (if you’re able to get to them before the birds and squirrels do)
