Here is my girl, and i keep looking at the place where a new leave should come from, wondering how that process work? I have no notion of how fast it goes, even after watching timelasped vidéo and reading they start again one the sun is decent?

I am in France, in the lot, my cumbidium are out by the pond since last weekend. Can she goes with them? We get some 35 to 45•C during the day from June.

The brown drops like stains on the leaves are from spraying it with water and cinnamon on arrival, the shop where I got her had a few plants with fungus and it was overwatered, so it is part of my quarantine process.

  1. Depends on the maturity of the plant and conditions, there’s never a set time.

My large Betty with 2 rows of inner fenestrations can give me 2-3 leaves a year, my albo gives me a leaf every 5ish weeks, my Burle Marx gives me a leaf every 3 months… despite them all getting the same conditions.
You can’t put a time on it sadly.

My monstera (deliciosa, Thai, & bmf) typically give me one leaf a month. Like clockwork. Once they get acclimated. But I have grow lights. They all need a LOT of light and I fertilize every watering.
