I don’t know anything about plants but this plant is important to me and I really want ti keep her alive. I don’t know plant language or anything like that so please excuse me. This is a store bought hyacinth and it was in bloom when she was gifted to me. I read that as it started dying I was supposed to cut off the flowers and I did that. I have been trying to keep it watered by using a spray bottle to keep the soil moist but not soaking wet (although at first I did just have to pour water because I didn’t have a spray bottle). She is still in the store bought pot, I keep her on the windowsill to get some light but I don’t open my blinds. I bought a plant lamp but haven’t used it yet but bought it just in case (I don’t open these blinds), I keep her indoors and do not have the option of planting her outside. I don’t know what I need to do now. Any help is appreciated.

Good news: you did not kill her. Hyacinths naturally go dormant after blooming. The yellowing leaves are the plant pulling energy back into the bulb. Let the foliage die back completely on its own, then store the bulb somewhere cool and dry until fall. She will bloom again.
