Around this time last year I chopped my flf and yes dozens of leaf sprouted, but the leaves never got bigger after last summer and it’s been around the same size. It’s right by the window w plenty of sunlight and I water about every 10 days in the shower throughly and let it drain. Had a question about fertilizer. I used the liquid once but if it just drains out is any really staying in the soil?

Honestly it looks just fine!
Trees tend to have a set amount of energy. So that means if it’s just a single trunk and no branches, it might grow 3 feet in a year. On the other hand, now let’s pretend like it instead has 6 branches. The tree will then split the energy between all 6 branches and each one might only grow 6 inches per year.
