The Johnson County Public Library hosted its Family Fun Day “Garden Party” on April 18 in collaboration with the JCPL Garden Club, while also highlighting upcoming programs for homeschool students, teens and families through April and May.

Kenzie Ryan, head of programming and outreach at the Johnson County Public Library, said the event included activities for children throughout the library.

“Our garden club is going to be decorating flower pots and planting flowers with them,” Ryan said. “We are also having our teen volunteers help us with games throughout the library, as well as a scavenger hunt and a coloring banner.”
